Please support Helen and Neo in their Santa Dash for M.E. today | 10 December 2017

December 10, 2017

Just because ME Association hasn’t run with a Christmas Appeal this year, doesn’t mean we’ve stopped fundraising. Far from it.

We still need your support as much as ever. Your donations – large AND small – are what keep us going.

This weekend marks our Fundraising Manager, Helen Hyland’s first personal fundraiser for ME Association.

Helen says: “Having ME in our family has made me passionate about fundraising for M.E.

“I feel privileged to have supported literally hundreds of amazing and inspiring ME Association fundraisers over the last few years. But it’s one thing to support others and quite another to put yourself out there. To stand up and be counted.

“I’ll be taking to the streets of Glasgow on Sunday, with my dog Neo as moral support, in the Glasgow Santa Dash. It’s not a big distance and we won’t be doing it at a huge speed, but it will still be a huge challenge.  And a huge responsibility.

“It has taken a lot of courage, time, determination, preparation and sacrifice to get here. But it means the world to me that I’ll be going the distance for everyone I know and care about who struggles with M.E. each and every day.”

Thank you to everyone who has supported Helen's challenge. You can still donate to her JustGiving page and help sustain our vital work in 2018.
