Invitation to the Foggy ‘PAW-TY’ in Portsmouth and Live on Facebook | 21 June 2017

June 21, 2017

Helen Hyland writes,

Foggy is about to start globetrotting again – raising awareness of ME by travelling to the places in the world that his ‘owner’ Sally Callow can only dream of visiting. In previous campaigns, he’s clocked up nearly 200,000 miles and raised over £8,000 for research into M.E.

Sally is organising a launch party on 5th July at the RMA Club in Southsea. So if think you might be in the Portsmouth area, why not go along and support all that she is doing? You can book your free ticket here on Eventbrite: free ticket link.

It will be a fun evening with entertainment and a charity raffle. But with a serious message of raising awareness of ME as a severely misunderstood illness. ME Foggy Dog as we know of old, works hard to educate and enlighten in all his work.

Sally has tracked down some talented musicians who will help the evening go along with a swing and a friend has kindly donated a vintage bright red camper for use as a backdrop for people to pose with Foggy for photos.

There will be plenty of fun things going on the night. And if you can’t join in person, it will be broadcast on Facebook Live specifically so that housebound sufferers can watch. All you need to do is ‘like' Foggy's Facebook page to see the stream.

But don’t just take my word for it – have a listen to Sally’s recent BBC Radio Solent interview (from around 57 minutes in).
