Statement from North East Wales NHS Trust (found in the link highlighted above), accessed 25 November 2009:

• We provide a group-based programme for people with an existing diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
• We also provide individual Multidisciplinary assessment and treatment for people with Medically Unexplained Symptoms that include significant levels of fatigue.
• We will offer an assessment to people at any stage of the disorder, but the earlier the better.
• If your patient is failing to recover from any period of ill health and they are presenting with increasing fatigue we will We are also happy to offer a service to individuals who are house bound or who have significant fatigue related mobility problems.
• Currently patients may be seen within 4 to 6 weeks of referral.

The Pain and Fatigue Management Centre offers a three-week residential programme based on a biopsychosocial approach to help people who are self-caring to manage their condition. The programme is run by an interdisciplinary team consisting of nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and psychology.  People cannot self-refer but may be referred by their GP or any qualified clinician involved in their care.
