Hertfordshire January 2009: The ME/CFS service for children and adolescents at Lister Hospital, Stevenage, has been reinstated. The original service was closed in 2006 and this resulted in widespread protests from parents and children – who then had to travel to London's Great Ormond Street Hospital if they required access to a specialist ME/CFS service. The new service, which started in November 2008, is currently covering North and East Hertfordshire. The situation is due to be reviewed in six months time. We don't, at present, have contact details for this service.
