Dick Patterson, president of Dorset
ME Support Group, has been made MBE in the New Year's Honours List.
Dick was chairman of the Dorset group for 17 years until he stood down
from the post last year, when he was succeeded by Tim Stirgess. The ME Association has written to Mr Patterson today congratulating him on a well-deserved honour. The citation reads: Richard John PATTERSON Lately Chairman, Dorset ME Support Group. For charitable services to those with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.
