Information on the Government's Blue Badge parking website has been given a major boost this month – with the parking map showing a large increase in the number of blue badge parking bays as well as lots of other features. Extra information includes details of accessible toilets, train stations and Shopmobility sites, where disabled drivers can find wheelchairs they can borrow when visiting shopping centres. The April issue of The ME Association's quarterly magazine, ME Essential, will tackle readers' concerns over difficulties in getting a blue badge as local authorities round Britain tighten up the criteria for elegibilty, and look at other issues involved with this controversial benefit.
