The ME Association has joined a new panel being set up by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) – the UK government body that monitors adverse reactions to drugs and healthcare devices. This will enable us to liase more closely with the MHRA on unproven claims and adverse reactions relating to various treatments that may be promoted or given to people with ME/CFS.It also means that we can provide our members with a more rapid and effective service when relevant adverse reactions need to be brought to the attention of people with ME/CFS.
