MEA statement on this conference Some of the leading figures involved in researching chronic fatigue syndrome will be speaking at a scientific conference being organised by the Royal Society of Medicine in London on April 28. The Royal Society of Medicine – an independent organisation – says the aim of this meeting is to take a broad look at chronic fatigue syndrome – examining its nature and definition, pathophysiology, epidemiology, clinical assessment and diagnosis, the patient perspective, and various approaches to treatment.
