Please note that the ME Connect helpline and email service cannot answer individual queries about medical management or diagnosis. We do, however, have a range of literature that covers all aspects of diagnosis, symptoms, other conditions that can cause ME/CFS-like symptoms, and management. These booklets and leaflets are listed on our pdf literature order form.
Regarding diagnosis, we have two booklets that cover assessment and diagnosis of ME/CFS in some detail: 'ME/CFS/PVFS - An Exploration of the Key Clinical Issues' and 'ME diagnosis - Delay Harms Health' These booklets can also be given to your doctor. We also have leaflets that cover blood tests that are relevant to making a diagnosis and referrals to specialists – both private and NHS. The MEA website has a list of geographical locations of the new NHS multidisciplinary hospital clinics that have been set up for diagnosis and management of ME/CFS. By post: ME Connect
