We are proud of our ME Connect telephone service. We are always pleased to welcome new volunteers who will work with us for up to four hours on the telephone every week from their own homes.

With the increasing number of calls to the service, we need to expand our team of volunteers. We particularly need extra cover in the evenings and at the weekends. Our team of volunteers all enjoy helping callers both by providing them with information and by listening to them. Training and supervision is given to everyone. We provide every volunteer with a Manual and keep them updated.

All we ask is that you have good listening and administrative skills with an ability to give information clearly and concisely. Plus, of course, a willingness to commit to us for a minimum of two hours a week.
