We’ve got two places in the Dublin Marathon in October – are you interested in running for the MEA?

by Tony Britton on April 27, 2012

The ME Association has secured two places in this year’s Dublin Marathon on October 29 – please be the first to bag them as demand for places is already high.

The Dublin Marathon – often billed internationally as the ‘Friendly Marathon’ – will see 10,000 runners competing along a largely flat course in a single lap which starts and finishes closes to the city centre. The start will be in Fitzwilliam Street Upper and the finish in Merrion Square North.

Half of the entries are expected to come from overseas, many returning to sample the famous Irish hospitality.

If you would like to apply for one of the MEA places, please email our fundraiser Maya Thomas as soon as possible – letting her know why you want to support the ME Association and giving us an idea of your running background.

Once we are able to confirm your entry, we shall be asking for a cheque for £30 made out to the ME Association which will be a non-refundable registration free. And we shall then ask you to commit to raising at least £600 for the charity.
